The most wonderful time of the year!

Happy New Year, Happy Mardi Gras, and Happy Valentines Day! (and any other holidays I missed)

Well, things are getting back to normal around our house after a wonderful Christmas Vacation at "home."  After a long ride thru a TERRIBLE snow storm we pulled into Vidalia on December 23rd.  What a welcome sight that was :) After unloading the car, taking a few naps, doing some last minute shopping, and visiting with family we had our "gender reveal" party.  What an exciting night that was.  Nana and Grandaddy opened their home to many, many visitors and honored our family by hosting the wonderful event.
Above is a picture of the cake.  On a side note if you have never heard of one of these parties, the parents cut the cake to find pink or blue.  When we cut into our cake we found PINK and we are overwhelmed with excitement to welcome another daughter into this world.  We have decided to name her Reilly Frances Wallace after different members of our families.  Below are a few pictures of cutting the cake and a few peoples facial expressions.  I love the one of Kayla grinning from ear to ear, and if you look close you can see she is coming back down from jumping.

The party was such a joyous and wonderful occasion that we greatly enjoyed.  Lots and lots of finger foods were served and we also sang to Greg for his birthday.  Marc and I would really like to thank everyone again for making this party possible.  We were both overwhelmed by the tremendous turnout, especially that close to Christmas!! I have missed being around family throughout this pregnancy and it was wonderful to share this part.  (Can't wait for everyone to meet our sweet baby girl this summer).

After the party we enjoyed celebrating Christmas with our families and just being "home".  I honestly think Marc had the most fun... He hunted a few times but greatly enjoyed being at the camp with the "guys"!   The kids enjoyed visiting with family too and seeing sweet little Raegan.  He has gotten SO big! Thanks again to everyone for making it a wonderful trip.
Since we gotten back we have celebrated 3 birthdays.  Its so crazy to think B and K are BOTH TEENAGERS!! Even scarier...Blake's going to high school next year! I want to brag on them for a minute.. Blake has been asked to step up to "honors" math next year and we are SO proud.  Also, when we arrived the kids took some standardized test called MAP testing.  K tested behind in many classes but after LOTS of hard work this year she is finally on track.  We are so proud and thankful to have such a wonderful school system and teachers.

Hope everyone is enjoying this "mild" winter.  I know we are happy to have less snow than normal! We have learned to enjoy the snow more lately, especially the kids.  We took them skiing/snowboarding for their birthdays and they had a blast (pictures to come soon!).  I am sorry its been so long since my last update but things are finally getting back to normal.  Hope everyone has a wonderful week and look for more posts soon.

Love from Kemmerer!!
